Anna Leonowens Gallery
The Anna Leonowens Gallery — affectionately, 'The Anna' — is a public exhibition space within the Nova Scotia College of Art and Design. Each year, the gallery stages dozens of exhibitions across several gallery spaces, interspersed with public lectures, visiting artists, performances, workshops, and residencies. It's a hub of student life at NSCAD and a steadfast piller of the local arts community.
The Anna approached us to replace their old Wordpress-based site with one that was easier to update and maintain, and that better showcased the variety of programming offered by the gallery each week. Their goal was for visitors to get an overview of the week's exhibitions, events, and activities 'at-a-glance', with a minimum of clicking and scrolling. No fuss no muss.
The site features a fully responsive custom theme with a clean, modern design. The site was designed and developed by Co. & Co. in Drupal 9.
