Tasteful Nudes/News 06/15/10
I just sent off the final art for
my next book. Done! Next up, I'm going to be moving across the country to Winnipeg, Manitoba, where the first thing I'll be doing is working on my new website and blog. Until then, this stain of a website won't be updated, so take a look
here, for the time being. Okay. Soon we'll sit down cross-legged and really
talk.

mini-interview.
Beasts, too 27/11/08

The second
Coffee Money Zine is up for viewing.
Magazine, Zine 08/10/08
I have a comic in the current issue of Swindle magazine, which you can see
here (page one) and
here (page two). In other news, I am able to subsidize my morning coffee consumption and writing practice through the grace of some benefactors.
Take a look.
Torontonaut 03/10/08
Just got back from Toronto, doing some
Hall of Best Knowledge readings, walking around, visiting friends. I have this to report: An adorable little girl holding a huge stuffed rabbit told me she liked my comic, and that she "couldn't wait to get it from the library". This despite the fact that nothing about that book should be appealing to kids. Awesome!
Life of Mystery! 26/08/08
Tiny Showcase just released a massive poster I wrote and drew for them.
Take a look-see
Originals for sale! 08/08/08
Buy some originals from Hall of Best Knowledge, Drama Club and a couple other things,

Besties of show. 01/08/08
A show of my
friendship bracelet paintings opens tonight at a friend's local boutique, Lost and Found. I am not sure if anyone reading this lives in Halifax, but just in case, the opening is from 6–9 pm at 2383 Agricola Street. The show will be up for the rest of August.
Art. 18/07/08
I have a couple small works in a group show at Giant Robot New York called
Crocodile Tears, as does my friend
Kate O'Connor. It opens Saturday July 19th, and the reception starts at 6:30. Check it out if you live in NYC. Oh, Giant Robot NY is at 437 East 9th Street
between 1st Ave. & Ave. A, in the East Village.
Soothing voice. 29/06/08
I was interviewed by Robin over at comics radio show
Inkstuds. I totally had a 'do I really sound like that' moment listening to it. Be careful, you might be sensually seduced by my
throatmusic.
Magical, Visual, Elite. 15/06/08
Threadless did a
big poster print version of my "Magical Powers" shirt, and yesterday, in the NYT Book review,
Steven Heller mentioned Hall of Best Knowledge in his
Visuals column. Speaking of New York Times, there's another drawing for them up in Illustration.
This special thing 24/04/08

for sale too, along with other great stuff by others.
Lil' Nibble 17/08/07
I got a mention in The Onion AV Club's
comics of note for my contribution to the most recent
Mome Anthology... and they totally didn't make fun of me!
Meat for the Beast 17/07/07
A few years ago, a friend used the phrase "Meat for the Beast", and it stuck with me. Depending on how you say it, it can mean so many different things. Well, it's now
come to life in the form of an insane, glowing, cross-stitch collaboration between Subversive Cross Stitch and yours truly. I also
did an interview for their website.
The power of dance 26/06/07
I did some dance music gibberish drawings for If'N Books, and they've made a lovely little limited edition, hand-printed, fancy-bound journal.
Support awesome indy craft!
Comics 28/05/07
First up, a typographic comic I did for the "Sin and Redemption" issue of Ballyhoo Stories is now finally
up for sale. My contribution is the story of a King and a Beast, told through signs and notes, and I'm very proud of it.
Also! Check out the next couple issues of Fantagraphics'
Mome Anthology, as I'll have comics/drawings in those until they kick me off. Fantagraphics, by the way, will also be publishing the Hall of Best Knowledge book in 2008.
Drama Club 27/02/07
It's my new
weekly comic variety pageant and talent show! Yay?
Quaaludes 16/01/07
I was
interviewed for Lab, an online magazine, and at one point I talk about Quaaludes. That's just the kind of professional, 'lude promoting dude that I am.
Print magazine 27/12/06
The Jan/Feb 2007 issue of Print magazine has a feature-length article on me written by Caitlin Dover, and it couldn't be more flattering. If you have a few bucks kickin' around, take a look.

Welcome! 25/07/06
So here we are, at my new website. I'll be updating it often with news and work, so check back often! I'll still be updating a
flickr site, which is good if you don't mind things a little more fast and loose. Oh, and if you would like to be on my mailing list, send me an
e-mail.
Special thanks to
Kate O'Connor, who let me use her computer while mine is out of commission.
